Sustainable

Here at Relay Exchange we believe a game plan for passing along our faith to the next generation must be tangible, and not merely aspirational. Wanting to make time is not the same thing as setting aside time and making connection happen! Importantly, the game plan must be sustainable. In order to be sustainable, it must be doable for the mothers and it must be appealing and engaging to both generations. While girls will sit and listen and relate, they also want to DO. Learning by hearing is great. Learning by hearing and DOING is better. Both mothers and daughters should be looking forward to meeting and being together. One of our favorite questions has always been, “when are we having Relay Exchange again?” 

The Relay Exchange program is a measurable, doable, sustainable, appealing program that stretches over eight years. It involves community. It requires a group meeting of two hours once a month. It provides easy and natural ways for mothers and daughters to connect in casual yet intentional ways over the course of the month at home. It engages both generations and it is fun. It is steeped in truth from Scripture and it points members to Jesus. It is a Spirit filled, practical way to be intentional about raising up the next generation of Christian women leaders. .

We talk a lot about influencing the next generation.
